One Line Storytelling

The aim of the game is simple: someone posts a line for a story (just one line) and the next person continues it, then the next, then the next, and so on, so forth. Simple right? Yeah, y'all probably didn't even need an explanation, you're all so smart!

The story begins...

Once upon a time, a long time ago, there lived a man with no name.

[Tammika]

His name was stolen from him by an old lady in a pink gorilla suit

He really hated the pink gorilla suit, but felt he had to love the woman, because she was his wife.

She had given it to somone else, leaving him nothing but the shirt on his back.

[Tammika]

The shirt on his back was his most prized possession, second only to his magic toothbrush.

A brush that would grant you wishes for every tooth it cleaned.

[TruthSayer]

His first wish was pants; it was really drafty down below with only his shirt on his back.

[Tammika]

Not specifying a color, he ended up with minty green pants that match the color of his toothpaste.

Next he wished for some shoes to match the pants, but he eded up with sandels as the toothbrush was a bit useless.

After that, he wished for an outfit for his wife that was not a pink gorilla suit.

[Tammika]

The toothbrush granted his wish and turned the pink gorilla suit to... (you guessed it) minty green.

[TruthSayer]

"I'm- GREEN!" his wife lamented, rather loudly and for quite a long time.

But then came up with a plan to rturn her to her pinky form.

[TruthSayer]

She was going to steal her husband's magic toothbrush.

Ant with that she could have his shirt and everything else her husband possesed

[TruthSayer]

She went into the washroom to take the toothbrush, but it wasn't there!

He had taken it for a walk, brushing his teeth around town to see what he could wish for out there.

[TruthSayer]

So his wife set out to find him, following the trail of completely superfluous and downright silly items that littered the town's main street.

Ducks and rummer rings, plastic trees and squeeky cars. Nothing that could be used by any sane person.

Without him seeing, she came up behind him while in a hardware store.
