RACE DETAILS not much. just something to work with.
Humans- Have expanded their boundaries further into space with technology (of course). They have not gained any special abilities per se, but have found they are 'compatible' with minor races. You will see an example of this when I post my character.
The Korves - (singular= a Korf) Humanoid creatures that are very similar to humans with four exceptions 1. they have larger sharper teeth 2.their ears are set slightly higher on their heads. 3. they have a very fine layer of fur barely visible but feels soft to the touch and 4. they have hooves. An animistic race that believes the way you live your life determines whether or not you reach the Astral Plane, The Hall of Darkness or be reborn among the living. The first of the Superior races that humans encountered, they are the second members of the Alliance. Friendly but not compatible with any minor races.
Yuru'shay- A tall muscular race that has thick gray skin similar to elephants. They are on average a foot taller than humans. All males are bald which creates a running joke among them. They consider human males pansies because they have hair. Most human men shave their heads when they work with Yuru'shays so they don't have to put up with it and it grew into a sign of respect for them. This is a race that was at war with The Korves when humans came on the scene. A treaty was made between the three races and the alliance was formed. Tolerant but non compatible with most minor races.
Greil- A lofty race of beings of very high intelligence and highly advanced technology. They do not involve themselves in affairs of the other Superior races unless it is of great interest to them somehow, which they never reveal what that interest is.. When their hand is pushed they will fight back and have displayed such amazing power that very few have challenged them. An androgynous race of humanoids that all have black skin and long black hair. There is very little difference between males and females. Only they know. O.o All of them have white markings around their wrists and necks, it is known to be a sign of title and clan. Compatible with all minor races but it is thought that some are used in experimentation, this has not been confirmed.
Plerians - Violent cannibalistic foul creatures that often eat their enemies. What they lack in size they make for in sheer number. Their skin is translucent, like wax clinging to bones but does take on different shades of grayish white. If it weren't for their violent nature they could be considered a beautiful race. Are currently at war with all races, even vain attempts against the Griel. Are known to keep many of the minor races as slaves.
Minor races-- there are many of these. They are minor because they don't have advanced technologies, organized government, nor a military. They are also small in size and number compared to the superior races.
Are we masters of our destiny, or are we simply pawns of fate?
